Dr. Edward D. Stoner brings over 37 years of experience in healthcare to Urgent Care One.

Dr. Stoner attended medical school at the University of Chile in Valparaiso, Chile. He completed his residency via Rutgers Medical School at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Princeton Medical Center.

His years of experience and education combined with his caring attitude and concern for all result in a quality practitioner with an endearing bedside manner.

His approach to medicine is the patient comes first, never in a hurry, and always takes the time to listen.

His multiple roles in medicine over the years have given him experience in the diagnosis and the treatment of multitudes of infirmities, experience in care of the acutely injured, and in minor surgical procedures such as laceration repair, skin lesion removal, and biopsy.   

When confronted with complicated issues, which tend to lead patients on a bandwagon of exotic or unproven treatments, his approach is to take a step back and employ what he likes to call “common sense medicine;” bring the situation back to basics and rely on the years of training and education to resolve the issue.

Disappointed with corporate run medical offices Dr. Stoner has decided to go out on his own so that he can bring his personal approach of care to the community.

Dr. Stoner is also conversant in Spanish.
